Admission Criteria Guidelines
The Admission Criteria are intended to guide the decision-making for hospital admission of medical or surgical cases, for the protection and benefit of the general public. These criteria have been developed by the Ministry of Public Health, through the Admission Criteria Committee which is composed of reputed physicians and public health experts, using local experience as well as evidence-based guidelines and research from various sources around the world. The number of criteria shall continue to expand to include numerous additional issues.
